At the Aviodrome Aviation Museum, you can not only see, read and hear a lot about aeroplanes and aviation, but also do and experience a lot. Have fun on the bouncy castle, imagine yourself as a real pilot in the flight simulators or experience a real flying adventure in the 4D film theatre. You can even get your pilot's or stewardess' licence in one day at the Aviodrome. There's plenty for the little ones to do too: in the Aviodrome entrance hall, children climb and scramble along the same course as their suitcase on an airport baggage carousel, and in the playground they can climb and scramble over the aeroplane toys like an aircraft mechanic.

Netl in Kraggenburg has dunes, a swimming lake, bamboo forests, hiking trails and, of course, play equipment. There is an 18-hole pitch and putt golf course and an obstacle course for sports enthusiasts. There is also a beach pavilion where you can have something to eat and drink, and you can even spend the night at the neighbouring campsite.
It's hard to imagine today, but how do you calculate complicated water forces on large structures without a computer? In the past, this was done by imitating reality, among other things. In the Waterloop forest in Marknesse you will find scale models of 35 famous waterworks. Let your children explore the forest and play on the scale model of the Rotterdam's port!
