The Poldertoren has been the striking centrepiece of Emmeloord for decades and is the symbol of the Noordoostpolder. Originally built in the late 1950s as a water tower, this listed building stands as a testament to the pioneering spirit with which new land was reclaimed from the water. Where water was once stored, you now spend the night at a great height. Surrounded by history, remarkable architecture and a vast polder landscape.
The Tower Rooms are part of Hotel Restaurant Grandcafé ’t Voorhuys, and check-in for your stay in one of the Tower Rooms takes place in the main building at De Deel 20. In the main building, you can also enjoy a generous breakfast buffet and are warmly welcome for a delicious lunch, drinks or dinner.
You can park your car free of charge at the De Deel car park, where the Poldertoren is located. There are also charging points for electric cars here. If you’re bringing your bike, it can be stored under cover at the main building, where there’s also the option to charge it. Are you travelling by public transport? The bus station is right next to the Poldertoren.
