Bike route Old versus New

2 hour (29.3 km)

Almere has grown rapidly in 40 years. Cycle through Almere Poort and Haven and discover the differences between the newest and oldest parts of Almere. Make a stop at the nicest hotspots along the way. This route takes you past Marina Muiderzand and the modern new housing estates, including DUIN (junction 28) and Pampushout (junction 5).

Fun trips
Relax at Marina Muiderzand and enjoy a delicious lunch at HarborHouse or have a nice cup of coffee or tea at Het Eksternest. Also visit the sheep pen at Het Eksternest. There are about 60 sheep here, which are used in summer to control hogweed in Kromslootpark.
