From the shopping centre in Lelystad-Haven, walk along the banks of ‘t Bovenwater. Don't forget to enjoy the view. The gravel paths take you to a cosy beach. Then you walk a bit through the wooded nature reserve Hollandse Hout and end up on Knardijk. Here, too, the view is magnificent. From the dyke you look out over the Oostvaardersplassen and ‘t Bovenwater. You then walk back to Lelystad-Haven via the Oostvaardersdijk, where you take a look at the place that played an important role in the creation of Lelystad: the former Working Island.
