Welcome to leg 11 of the long-distance walk the Pioneer trail, which starts in Steenwijk and ends in Muiden. From Stadslandgoed De Kemphaan, you walk through a continuous green zone between Almere-Haven and Almere-Stad, through the Vliegerbos and Beginbos to the Kromslootpark, where highlanders and sheep graze. Along winding creeks, the route goes via Muiderberg and the stately IJmeer castle Muiderslot to Muiden.
