The Walking Route Disability Path Wisentbos is a paved walking route suitable for wheelchair users and people with physical disabilities. The route is 2.1 kilometres long and marked in purple. The route starts at the Wisentbos car park, opposite Wisentweg 7. The dog can come along.
The route starts at the main entrance to the Wisentbos, opposite Wisentweg 7, where there is a car park on the edge of the forest. The Wisentbos is a village forest on the outskirts of Dronten and is a mixed hardwood forest. The forest's pond is home to several duck species and a heron colony.
There are no catering facilities in the forest. Nearby, on Wisentweg, is the village farm, though. This is a combination of teahouse and petting zoo, where you can go for a drink and (children's) entertainment.
