During the season, you can also pick fresh fruit in addition to a bouquet. Signs in the aisles explain the variety and whether they can be picked. Picking is by weight and containers are available. The berries are delicious to eat as they are or to use in a cake.

The picking garden is open from June to the end of October from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On hot days, the garden opens earlier and stays open longer. Exact opening hours can be found on De Zuiderkrib's Facebook page (see link below).
The picking garden has a wicker hut where you can sit for a while or where the children can play, nice and cool on a hot day! There is also a picnic table that you are welcome to use.
