The Cultural Historical Centre Noordoostpolder, also known as CHC NOP, manages an archive on the history of the Noordoostpolder, among other things. But you can also go there for a guided city walk through Emmeloord.

Under the name “15 steps around the Poldertoren”, an experienced city guide will take you on a walk through the oldest part of Emmeloord. This walk takes you past fifteen points in Emmeloord, starting at the Poldertoren, on De Deel (where the bus station and a large free car park are also located).
