Starting on 14 April 2022 and extending for six months, Almere is set to be the stage for the World Horticultural Exposition Floriade Expo 2022. The 7th Floriade will focus fully on the theme of 'Growing Green Cities'. Together with national organisations and international participants, the Dutch horticultural sector will present innovations and solutions for sustainable and liveable cities. It will have inspiring exhibitions from different countries and from innovative companies from the green sector and further afield. There will also be impressive attractions, art and culture, along with a unique collection of trees, shrubs and flowers in the arboretum.
During the Expo visitors are invited to discover new developments and innovations in the Dutch horticultural sector. There will be interesting things for all your senses to discover. The aim is to encourage people to change: changes in life, healthy food, a green living environment, and a responsible use and sustainable application of water and energy. Floriade Expo 2022 is not only a World Horticultural Exposition with inspiring stories, there are also interesting congresses, workshops and unique attractions.

Floriade is already being constructed. Floriade Preview offers you the opportunity to take a sneak peak of the grounds on which the Floriade will be built. After a successful season, Floriade Preview is only open for groups this winter. In the spring of 2021, Floriade Preview will open again, and everyone will be welcome to come and see it.
