In the construction and design of the Horsterwold, careful thought has been given to people's experience needs. Paths and other facilities are plentiful but not everywhere equally so. Silent Core the heart of the Horsterwold comprises the 1100 hectares. A unique area where you can stroll everywhere in the footsteps of the herd of wild Konik horses. They ensure that the enormous variety of forest, thicket, grassland and swamp is not lost. And for those with reduced mobility, a semi-paved path also runs through the area.
Beaches and foreshore. The water of the border lakes and the forests of Horsterwold meet in a special way at the beaches and forelands.
