The Kraggenburg, Vollenhove, St. Jansklooster circular cycling tour via cycling hubs; 46 km

This cycling tour starts at the 'Netl de Wildste Tuin' family park at Leemringweg; an excellent place to kick off your route. There is free parking here and a fortifying strong cup of coffee is advisable before setting out. There is also a charging point for your electric bike here. (Please note: the Netl gardens are not suitable for cycling in)

Voorsterbos
From Netl you head in the direction of Kraggenburg and immediately turn left into the Voorsterbos woods. Tip: stop for a picnic here and enjoy these beautiful woodlands.

Oude Land
At Vollenhove you will enter onto the 'old land' and cycle through the small towns of Vollenhove and St. Jansklooster, where you can stop at the 'de Wieden' visitors centre among other things.

Picking fruit
The route takes you back onto the polder, past the Oud Kraggenburg refuge (not always open). At Vink's fruit farm you can choose your own regional products or even pick your own fruit during the apple harvesting season (September, October).

Via Kraggenburg, you can make a coffee pit-stop or take time out for lunch at the 'Van Saaze' Hotel Restaurant, before returning to the 'Netl de Wildste tuin' family park where your route concludes.
